22-28 May 2000 - "The Stamp Show 2000, London." This postmark was seen by the Editor of this catalog for the first time in April 2015. Prior to that he had not known of it's existence. Does anyone know what other cancellations exist for the other days and if this is genuine?

2004

8 - 12 January - "OLYMPEX". The cancellations were officially done in various colors, representing the different organizations. Some were done in black. Above are the official colors for the cancellations.

2005

Once the Bangladesh Post Office began participating in international stamp shows, and having created different pictoral cancellations for each day of the show, international dealers began to create their own privately printed envelopes with quality cachets. As a result, many high quality covers exist from most of the shows.

21 - 24 April - "World Stamp Expo, Sydney, Australia, 21-24 April 2005".

19 - 24 August - "Taipex 2005, 18th Asian International Stamp Exhibition".

INDIPEX Covers with Privately Produced Cachets

12 - 18 February "INDIPEX - 1011, World Philatelic Exhibition". Seven different cancellations, one for each day of the exhibition (Also see INDIPEX Covers with Privately Produced Cachets).

28 - 31 July, 1 - 2 August "Philanippon 2011." A very scarce set of cancellations used at the show that were unknown to most collectors. The top illustration is of the 28 July cancellation but differs in that it is totally in English and the text at the top is different. This is the only cancellation seen by the author to date but others exist for the other dates and images. The "Bangladesh Post" cancellations were used only at the stamp shows.

11 November - "11.11.11".

2012

29 February - "Leap Year"

18 - 24 June - "Jakarta Stamp Exhibition". SEE "FAKE AND QUESTIONABLE BANGLADESH ITEMS" PAGE

24 - 29 November "24th Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Conference, Bangladesh." Again the Scout issue has created confusion for collectors. On the 24th, the beginning day of the conference, a stamp honoring the event was issued. For each of the following days the same cancellation, as that used for the FDC, was used, with only the date changed. Most covers that were stamped for each of the days were made using the FDC envelope and the new stamp. Since the envelope is the same, and the cancellation is the same (with only a date change), most people will think these are all FDCs, as the envelope states "First Day Cover."

12 December - "12.12.12".

25 December - "PAB Celebrating 25 years" (Philatelic Associatioin of Bangladesh).

2013

29 July - "1971/29 July/Stamp Day/2013"

2 - 14 August "Thailand 2013" Thirteen different cancellations, one for each day of the exhibition. It is interesting that all the cancellations read, "Dhaka GPO, except the one for August 5 (The P.O. logo), which reads, "Bangladesh Post". Generally the "Bangladesh Post" cancellations were only used at the shows, and were not available in the Dhaka GPO.

2014

25 - 27 April - "Tokyo Stamp Show 2014." SEE "FAKE AND QUESTIONABLE BANGLADESH ITEMS" PAGE

12 September - "Celebrating Stamp Day/1971 - 2014"

2016

January 22 - 27 - 8th National Cub Camporee, 2016. The same envelope for the issuance of the stamps (FDC) was used for most of these postmarks, thus creating some confusion among novice collectors. The FDC postmark is totally different. Only the date was changed for the different days of the Camporee.
