The sun is not centered on the flag and the bottom of the stamp shows a shift upwards of the figures and colors. Due to the low number of stamps printed for each issue, small varieties like this are very popular and often command high prices.

The Sundarbans souvenir sheet with a minor perforation shift upwards of the horizontal perforations. These are very common.

Additional: A special folder exists with a picture of the Sundarbans on the cover and back. The folder opens and contains a block of four of the stamps and both a perf. and imperf. SS. It is interesting that the front cover is in Bengali, but the lengthy description on the back is only in English.

Additional: The FDC envelopes sold out and a second printing was made. The second printing is in a lighter colored ink. The envelope is slightly different size and the first printing has a bubble in the ink in the circle at the lower right. I have not been able to locate any bubble, and the covers appear to be almost the same size. The first printing is the scarcer of the two.
A presentation pack consisting of the cover and an envelope exist.
This is the first government prepared FDC wtih a design on the back flap.

The CCM for this issue is in the bottom left corner. Because each stamp was only printed in one color, there is only one color in the box.

The envelope is missing a color, which is most likely the yellow as the background of the Bangladesh flag is blue on the cover. Note that the red is also printed double, as evidenced by the double red logo on the back of the envelope.

This is the only known copy of this error to date.
